This is an old revision of the document!

This will be about the SDRCUBE and associated NUE-PSK and using it. Currently I have

  • SDRCUBE #1 Set for 80/40
  • SDRCUBE #2 In the grandstand
  • SDRCUBE Experimenters Platform and repair jig (thanks George)
  • LOTS of softrock things.. and parts to repair them.

I am always behind the times, seems that's where I like to be.

I have lots of other transceivers, but always go back to using my cube (s). All these are sitting on a shelf for now. I am not buying any more transceivers.. I have my life times worth here. Bucks running low.

  1. K2 #157 all options but dsp.. I resurected this old baby.
  2. QRP++ S/N 463(I fixed this from other parts. Works great)
  3. QRP++ S/N 612 same repair.. mixer replaced. finals too.
  4. IC735 S/N 38987 given to me by a dear friend K3JLS. He repaired the PLL and I added a CW filter..
  5. KH1 Brand new. A dream of mine to hike and use CW at a local preserve.. Not feeling well enough yet.

Many singe/dual Band QRP units, most repairs by me, some bought, a lot built by me.

  1. OHR 20/40. Built my me from an old kit.. was a challenge as the PCB had internal shorts in IF chain.
  2. SW Labs DS-II 20m
  3. SW Labs DS-III 40m
  4. Norcal 40a old kit given to me by a good friend KA7QJY for Christmas.. works well.
  5. Redhot 20m
  6. NN1G old MarkII(?) 30m rig I bought broken and repaired. Works great
  7. K1EL 40m Open QRP rig. I actually have 2.. one I am still working on..

Rigs to be worked on:

- SWAN 100mx. neat rig bought used. dont know wny.. clean as a whistle.
- Cubic Astro 150a needs work. Almost first Microprocessor PLL but PLL is not working.. clean
- Cubic Astro 200. needs a little work.. with external supply. completely TTL PLL.
- Century 21. Physical Dial failed (plastic gears) added a digital readout, overhauled PTO
- Argonaut 505 complete, clean but old. Have not looked at it PTO and dial work smooth.
